OUR TEAM

Meet our amazing team at Abhi Rose

MBA | Operations Manager/Director

I am the eldest daughter of Abhi and Peter Burman and indeed the driving force behind the set-up of Abhi Rose. I wish to continue the legacy of my parents and provide a service which will first and foremost be recognised as extremely caring and of the finest quality. My background is not within the care industry as my working life initially commenced in the public sector working for the local authority. I then progressed into the private corporate sector leading to a position within senior management in the financial services industry which included several years working abroad. This was followed by 15 years working within community development assisting vulnerable adults and working on various community projects.

I am from a family who have a passion for helping others and following a period of time away from work to bring up my daughter, I wished to develop a career within the care sector and contribute to society. In view of this, Abhi Rose was launched in 2015 to provide care and support for those in need.

Entering the care industry has been extremely rewarding as I am following my utmost passion of caring for the elderly, individuals living with dementia related illnesses and the more vulnerable individuals within society. I am the operations manager for Abhi Rose and I work alongside the care team in ensuring the smooth operation of our service. We are based in the local community and along with my amazing team I hope to continue to build Abhi Rose to be the preferred care provider and to further develop other enriching services for the people that we support and our local community.

Finance Director

I was born in India within the city of Bathinda and graduated at the University of Punjab with a degree in Civil Engineering. I project managed various World Bank construction projects in India before moving to the UK in 2000. Whilst in the UK I have worked on various local government environmental projects and I have worked on various community initiatives. I have always had a keen interest in financial accounting and believe that effective budgeting and strategic accounting for every business is the key to sustainability. I am extremely proud to be a director of Abhi Rose as we strive to enrich the lives of those in need of a little assistance. I often deliver care myself and contribute to a small team of male carers who deliver care to diverse communities. I find the delivery of care to be a rewarding experience and it provides me with the fulfilment of giving back to the community. I enjoy being part of a team working towards ensuring that essential care needs are met and indeed one that contributes immensely to a happy and healthy community.

CARE CO-ORDINATION TEAM

Registered Manager

“My passion has always been to help others”

I started my journey within the care sector over 10 years ago when I joined the NHS following many years working in management. I worked my way up whilst working on the Acute Assessment unit at Pinderfields hospital and then progressing to work as part of the emergency respiratory team.

I have a wealth of experience in palliative care, MND, spinal injuries, complex care, Dementia and domiciliary care.

I have been responsible for managing teams of over 100 carers, developing and supporting care businesses and managing complex care packages.

I deal with the day to day running of Abhi Rose. I truly believe that life is better at home and we strive to make this happen. We work closely with local councils, Marie Curie, hospices, NHS CCG’s and relatives to make sure care provision at home is totally person centred and is equally delivered in line with our values of supporting our service users to live a happy, safe and well life in their own community. I am passionate about providing our carers with ongoing support and recognition for their hard work. I continually strive to ensure that the service which our front-line staff deliver is valued and very much appreciated.

I spend my spare time with my family and my French bulldog Nellie.

I joined Abhi Rose in December 2021 where I feel blessed to be working in such a diverse, ethical and family oriented business.

Lead Care Coordinator

I entered the care industry several years ago following an initial career in retail. I had always wanted to work in care as my grandma had worked in care homes for many years and her work used to interest me immensely. I worked initially as a carer for the elderly and moved on to be a support worker for learning disabilities and then progressed to be a team leader within learning disabilities support. My experience here included working with individuals with various disabilities and complex needs. This was followed by a short period of time working as an events coordinator within a care home specialising in elderly dementia care. Following this I returned to the domiciliary care industry as a team leader for learning disability care and support. Redundancy led to a new opportunity working for another organisation as a care coordinator.  I find care coordination extremely challenging as every day brings new challenges and rewarding experiences. I enjoy working for a dynamic team that is at the forefront of delivering essential care and support to the most vulnerable in our community.
